Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)


Employee Health & Safety Serge Pun and Associates (Myanmar) is committed to continual improvement in providing a safe and healthy work environment. As per the modern occupational safety and we, as a Group, carry out the regular risk assessment prior to and after the implementation of each specific project and it is reviewed and recorded whenever there is a significant change. The variety of trainings and treatments are being operated per month with support to continuous improvement of OH&S practices. Regular Safety Inspection and roll outs are carried out by both Director of Financial and Risk Management Department and Head of OH&S Department. Monthly Occupational Health & Safety and Security Report which includes an Accident Record, Health Cases, Safety Training Induction Courses, Monthly Safety and Health Programme and Promotion Campaign, are reported to Top Management. We do this through establishing, implementing and maintaining an effective occupational health and safety management programme to achieve our overall objectives and targets by:
  • Committing to anticipate hazards and eliminate them to prevent personal injury/illness to employees or loss/damage to equipment and property.
  • Ensuring high level of compliance by meeting applicable OH&S legal and other requirements to which the organization subscribe and adopting best practices.
  • Training and educating employees and contractors to prevent accidents and injuries, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Looking into and implementing all reasonable measures to provide the best possible care in maintenance of our equipment and facilities.

Customer Health & Safety

The Group is committed to providing the highest levels of services to all our customers by developing and using best practices and procedures to achieve and maintain high standards of service quality. The followings are some of customer health and safety measures that we have undertaken across the Group.
Customer Health & Safety
  • 24 hours security monitoring services by both security personnel and CCTVs is in place for residences' and customers' safety
  • Pest Control management programmes in place at the Group's Estates
  • Regular fire drills are conducted to ensure customers/residents are familiar with emergency preparedness procedures in a simulated but safe environment, to evaluate the effectiveness of evacuation procedures, and identifying the improvement opportunities to address the potential risk.
  • Incident/accident register in place to track and anlyse the trend, identify the root cause and ensure corrective action plans are in place to prevent future reoccurrence.
  • Infection prevention and control programmes are conducted to:
    • prevent patients, residents, visitors and staff from acquiring preventable healthcare associated infections; and
    • to effectively manage infections by using evidence based strategy campaigns.
Food Safety
  • Food safety training is provided and is focused on restaurant food safety.
  • Adherence to compliance regulations in day-to-day restaurant operations.
  • Promote food safety standards as part of standard requirements
  • Regular restaurant inspections are carried out to prevent bacteria buildup and potential food safety problems
